Magna Carta (British Library) - poster (61x91.5cm)
Created in 1215 Magna Carta is considered the greatest document in our history regarding the freedom of the individuals against the aristocracy. It was written in Latin and it was supposed to arrange peace between King John of England and the barons. Neither of the sides signed it and it was annulled by Pope Innocent III leading to the First Baron's War. Nowadays it's a symbolic representation of the rights of the ordinary people and it is the foundation of the American Constitution.
